The government has fixed the retail prices of 53 new medicines, ensuring affordability for essential drugs used to treat various health conditions. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has issued a notification stating that pharmaceutical companies cannot sell these medicines at a price higher than the prescribed limit.
