Hong Kong national cricket team players for Asia Cup 2022: Hong Kong will play its first match against India in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. Hong Kong had qualified for the Asia Cup 2022 after defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by eight wickets at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Muscat. 

Hong Kong ended the Qualifiers as the top-ranked side to join India and Pakistan in Group A of the Asia Cup T20 event. Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are in Group B of the competition.

"The anticipation is real! Hong Kong , the final entrant in the DP World Asia Cup will face one of the big boys - India .Will we witness a repeat of the thrilling encounter between these two sides from the 2018 tournament?" Asian Cricket council tweeted on Wednesday.
