Broad-based gains lifted the benchmark equity indices to a one-month high in Tuesday's session (February 4), with the Nifty 50 index swiftly settling over 23,700 levels. In the run-up, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies surged by more than Rs 5 lakh crore.
