2024 has been a remarkable year for India’s IPO market, reflecting the growing strength of its capital markets. From January 1 to December 18 2024, a record-breaking 319 IPOs were launched across both the mainboard and SME segments, significantly surpassing the 243 IPOs in 2023. Together, these IPOs raised Rs 1.6 lakh crore, a sharp increase from Rs 58,827 crore last year.
On the mainboard, a total of 75 IPOs collectively raised over Rs 1.5 lakh crore, setting new benchmarks.
