Stallion India Fluorochemicals Listing: Shares debut at 33% premium over issue price

Stallion India Fluorochemicals made a strong market debut on Thursday, listing at a 33.33 per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 90. The stock opened at Rs 120 on both the BSE and NSE, marking a significant gain for investors.

Following its debut, the shares hit their upper circuit levels, climbing 5 per cent to Rs 126 on the NSE and Rs 125.99 on the BSE. The company's market capitalisation reached Rs 999.42 crore on the BSE and Rs 999.50 crore on the NSE.

Meanwhile, the broader market also witnessed an uptick. The 30-share BSE Sensex advanced by 253.70 points, or 0.33 per cent, to trade at 76,658.69, while the NSE Nifty gained 85.50 points, or 0.37per cent, to 23,240.85 during morning trade.

Stallion India Fluorochemicals subscription:

The IPO of Stallion India Fluorochemicals Ltd concluded on a high note, with a subscription rate of 188.38 times by the end of bidding on Monday, January 20. The Rs 199.45 crore public offering had received bids for 2,92,22,89,425 shares against the 1,55,12,978 shares on offer, as per NSE data.

Non-institutional investors had led the charge, with their category oversubscribed by an astounding 422.42 times. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) had subscribed 172.93 times, while Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) had subscribed 96.90 times.

Stallion India Fluorochemicals IPO Details

The Stallion India Fluorochemicals IPO was open for subscription from January 16 to January 20, with the allotment of shares finalised on January 23. The IPO had a price band of Rs 85 to Rs 90 per share, and at the upper end, it raised Rs 199.45 crore. This included a fresh issue of 1.79 crore equity shares worth Rs 160.73 crore and an offer for sale of 43.02 lakh shares valued at Rs 38.72 crore.
