Crude oil futures on Friday declined 0.58 per cent to Rs 6,530 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for June delivery fell Rs 38 or 0.58 per cent to Rs 6,530 per barrel with a business volume of 5,629 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.62 per cent lower at USD 78.13 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.45 per cent lower at USD 82.38 per barrel in New York.
